Michael joined HolidayPirates Group as a Head of Content Operations in January 2018. In this position, he oversees the company’s content strategy in the ten different markets where HolidayPirates Group has established its presence. Prior to this role, Michael accumulated experience in various management positions throughout several verticals of the travel industry at American Airlines, Expedia and KLM. He also worked in brand and product management for several big consumer services like Starbucks and FTD.

Ikenna is a data and project management professional with years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science and IT project management. He has implemented multiple data management and analytics solutions around the world. He has worked for companies like Ogilvy UK (WPP) and Konga and has consulted for both internal and external clients in countries like Belgium, France, United States, and Switzerland. He is currently the Global Head of Analytics and Data Science at VisitBritain; the number of visits to the UK in 2017 grew 4% to a record 39.2 million and the value of spending increased by 9% to £24.5 billion.

As Vice President and General Manager for North America, Dr. Zhihang Chi currently manages all aspects of Air China’s business in the region from the company’s headquarters in Los Angeles, California. He is responsible for more than 175 U.S.-based Air China employees and oversees marketing and operations for all passenger flights between North America and China. Dr. Chi joined Air China in 2004 and has since led North America’s growth initiatives, investments and various contributions across the local economies the company services. Prior to his promotion to Vice President in April 2008, Dr. Chi was General Manager for the Western U.S. region for two years until November 2006. Before that, he was responsible for Air China’s Los Angeles operations.

Florian is the Lead Blockchain Developer of the AFKL Blockchain Program. He has been working around innovations for several years. First as one of the finalists of the first hackathon organized by Air France, focusing on improving the travel experience in case of irregularity. As a follow up he became one of the first intrapreneurs at Air France to continue working on his project with his team. Passionate about new technologies and innovations, he discovered Blockchain and Bitcoin around 2011. He really started digging into it mid-2017. After several month of self-training and hours of research, he became Air France-KLM Blockchain Lead Developer in May 2018. His mission is to study, benchmmark, and analyze Blockchain protocols to support the Air France-KLM projects, and to create a Blockchain competence center to make the group a leader in the Blockchain space. He is involved in all aspects of the Blockchain: IT integration, Monitoring, Supervision, Delivery, Development, etc.

After having practiced almost every possible job within the hospitality industry, Erik-Jan started as General Manager at Postillion Hotel Utrecht Bunnik in 2012. He became Director Region West of the chain in 2014 and as of February 2017 he is to be called Managing Director of Postillion Hotels Nederland. Mark Struik, Commercial Director of Postillion Hotels, graduated at the International Hospitality University Leeuwarden. Mark worked in several sales positions in and out side the hospitality industry. He made a transfer from Starwood Hotels & Resorts to Postillion hotels in 2014 and started as Director of Sales. Early 2017 he was promoted to Commercial Director and is supervising Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Reservations and Productions. Mark is specialized in commercial strategies and makes translations between ideas and implementations.

He has over 15 years experience of running national and international campaigns for a diverse range of clients in media and events.
