At Digital Travel Connect, we spoke to Danielle Wykes, Head of Sales at RTB House, to see why continue to sponsor.

Why did you choose to sponsor?

Danielle : We have sponsored Digital Travel’s flagship and Connect events in the past. We’ve returned because we found the quality of delegates to be very high. We had some great conversations at the event last time, and travel is a massive vertical for us, so we wanted to replicate that success.

How have you found the quality of delegates?

Danielle : They’ve been great, lots of good job titles, decision-makers, and people with budget, which is great to see.

How many 1-1 meetings have you had so far?

Danielle : We’ve had eight meetings, and I’d say five of them will lead to a follow-up, including one person who has wanted to sign off on the spot. It would be near on impossible to meet these kinds of delegates normally, as it takes a really long time to get these kinds of meetings, and all these have been good quality discussions.

We really like the format of being able to choose who we want to meet, and then have them choose you back. We then roughly know what the topics are going to be beforehand, helping us plan our meetings.

How would you rate the organisation of the event overall?

Danielle : It’s been very well organised, and you don’t have that added pressure of having to walk around and pull people for conversations. I will definitely be recommending that we sponsor again in the future.
